Contract Project Manager Payment for Services Not paid

Massachusetts

Hi, I'm owed payment for services as a contract Project Manager on 2 jobs; 1 in Watertown, and one in Brookline. The owner of the GC I was contracted by created an impossible scenario to deliver the job on-time, or in the clients expectations, so I quit. The GC (my boss) claims he doesn't owe me the payment for the 2 weeks. Is it possible for me to lien the jobs? The C of O's haven't been approved yet.

The answer to your question, is it depends.  One would need to review your contract. You may have a claim as an employee under the Wage Act, and that might prove more lucrative. Give me a call, and we'll discuss.
Sincerely,

 Andrea
