We completed a job approximately a year ago and the customer dragged his feet when it was time to pay. He always kept saying check is in the mail. Normally we would be on top of the lien but he's a friend of the family. So i go by and he swore up and down that the fence wasn't done and we needed to come back and replace a post and he would pay that day. We went back and replaced with a new post and concrete 30 days ago. Of course he says check is in the mail and it never shows. This is in Missouri. We already sent a notice of intent through levelset. Do we still have rights to file a lien?
