Completed a pond project in August 2020 was paid a total 11,250.00 in three separate installments. Customer received the remainder of a hurricane to the property in September 15th. Client asked us to repair the pond. We agreed for a small fee to repair the pond in a few weeks the pond was damaged by an act of god not workmanship. While agreeing to repair the pond Client asked us to make some minor changes at their expense. 10-12-20 Customer contacted his credit card company and had a charge back issued of 3750.00. States the product not as described or defective merchandise. I've attempted to contact the client with no success. Clients wife has answered some emails dogging the facts of the chargeback. Can I file a lien? If so can it be changed if the client decides to chargeback the other two payments? The project was done in NC and we both live in SC.
