I am a subcontractor working on a project and the owner is being named as San Manual Band of Mission Indians, a federally recognized Indian Tribe. Can we proceed with filling a 20-day preliminary notice?

If this project is on an Indian reservation, Indian Law rather than California Law could potentially apply.
