We were asked to walk a project to take measurements and make note of any work that had to be done in order to submit a bid. We sent them an invoice for our hours, but they did not get the project. This happened mid- May, and we have not received payment.
Did you have an agreement that you would be paid for your estimate and opinions? If so, you may have a valid claim. The issue will likely be the amount of the claim may be less than the cost to recover it.
