I made a mistake in letting a storm chaser convince me to sign a contingency contract to repair my roof. It's a huge scam where he's going to profit 6,000 . Anyway, the home and insurance is not in my name, it is only in my girlfriends. We are not married. Could this null/void the contract? Did i have any authority to sign it in the first place?
If the contract is contingent on the storm chaser getting money from your insurance company, and if you don't have insurance, then it sounds like there is no way for the storm chaser company to collect. I don't think you even have to worry about the contract being void or null, because there is no way for the contract to come to fruition in the first place.
