I am the owner of a small cleaning service. I have a client whos home I did a move out cleaning for. He didnt read his Estimate and agreed to the terms and conditions of the Estimate but did not sign it just gave verbal approval to start the job. He misepresented the condition of the home a he sent photos of what tthe home looked like 4 yrs ago before the home sat vacant for3 to 4 years, did not disclose that the home was infested with spiders and spider webs. My coompany is located in FL but job was in Alabama
Generally, mechanics liens cannot be filed for cleaning services. Mechanics liens are typically utilized in the context of construction, because permanent improvement must be present for mechanics lien rights to arise. And, because cleaning generally won't provide any permanent improvement, cleaning services typically don't give rise to mechanics lien rights.
