Can I file lien on house and property.

FloridaConstruction ContractMechanics Lien

For 3 years almost I resided and worked on a house with no rental or contract agreement but the owner bought supplies and told me to do it , also I helped buy supplies , with the idea that we were gonna fix it up and flip the home and sell it for more. Then I'd recoup my material and labor through the sell. Before project was completely finished but still almost completely remodeled home , I have pictures along the way as well as yard the owner decided to kick me out, and exclude me from sale entirely and no reimbursement of material or pay of any labor . I went to court house and was told it was probably to much money to do in small claims. Could really use some help on what steps I need to take and quickly , been researching for a week and not to clear

This is not a construction lien issue. You may nevertheless have legal recourse, but you will need the assistance of a lawyer. I suggest that you consult with a lawyer in your community.

I concur with Attorney Bass that this matter requires consultation with an experienced real estate litigator without delay, especially if the property is actively being marketed for sale. You may have grounds to make a claim for an equitable lien against the property as well a claims against the owner, but these are legally complex claims and not a DIY project. Failing to comply with legal niceties could result in your being countersued for slander of title.
