I hired a big company contractor who started the job of raising my sinking foundation in 2015. There was defective workmanship from the start causing damage, due to bad engineering design with smartjacks. A new agreement was signed going forward to remedy the problem. In 2016 they stopped the work on the house after I paid in full. The job was incomplete and I didn't hear from them. I felt scammed and let years go by thinking I was defeated, until I discovered the 6 yr statute of limitations. I contacted them June 2020 seeking a resolution. They assured me the new foreman would take over and complete the job. They are still working, the house is still not level. The foreman has become hostile and there is likely more damage. They are incompetent or they are still scamming me. I want my $11,000 back.
