I am a building materials supplier. I sent a pre-lien for $110k on 7/18/22. The job is done, but I didn't realize how much was charged on their account. I have a balance of $243k that is past due. Am I able to file a mechanics lien for the entire amount? The last job was shipped on 11/8/22 for the amount of $108k.
Yes, Scott, you ca record a lien in an amount that exceeds the estimated value in your preliminary notice. Your materials were all furnished to the same project that was identified in your preliminary notice, right?
I am the CEO of Wolfgang and Rhodes. I help contractors execute liens and get paid typically within 5 days. I charge nothing up front. Feel free to call my cell 214-518-9595 or email me at joshua@wolfgangandrhodes.com
Are you able to have a phone call discussion with me to lead me down the right path on how to get paid?
I am available right now yes. 214-518-9595
