Can I file a mechanics lien?

California

I worked directly with the owner. There was a lender involved with a portion of my contract. The lender paid me in full, their portion. Then the owner was paying me directly with no lender involved. I’m stating this because I never sent a preliminary notice. My last day I worked there was March 17 of this year. I sent a notice of intent to lien through this service last week. So, am I able to lien this project legally?

You say you worked directly with the owner. Did you have a direct contract with the owner? If so, then you don't need a preliminary notice to have lien rights.
