Can I file a mechanic's lien without a definitive legal property description.

MassachusettsMechanics Lien

I am a materials supplier and have not been paid in full by our customer (subcontractor) . The project owner is a power line company and the project was to replace power line poles. The job strectched over multiple counties/jurisdications so we have no single property to attach a lien. What are my options to get a lien filed?

If the project involved power lines, I suspect that the property may not be privately held and you would have to file a claim under the little Miller or federal Miller Act. I would start with your contract. If it really is private land, I would have a title searcher do a search to determine ownership and proceed from there. You can give me a call to discuss.
