Can I file a lien after small claims dismissal

Michigan

I fabricated handrails for a family member property and didn't use a contract, we went to small claims and it was dismissed. Can I file a lien after that in Michigan?

What is its value? If it is a family member, we should have a quick solution internally. And the property if there is no substantial value I don't know if they will accept this lawsuit? lolbeans

Can you .. probably. HOWEVER It will most likely be invalid and a useless endeavor. To be valid a construction lien must be filed within 90 days of the last date of work or the last date you supplied something to the property. Given the time it takes to sued and get a case was dismissed you missed this time window.
