I am a subcontractor in Texas. I'm out 12,000 in materials and labor. 2 days before completing the project on time my company was released from the job. The manufacturer of some equipment that I ordered delivered it without 2 critical components. There was no knowledge of a date within 2 weeks that these components would even be available. The GC let us go to protect himself from a $1500 a day fine for not coming in under deadline. The Project was completed under my permit and license without my consent. I am seeking my lost materials cost and labor plus lost income as well as compensation for the use of my license. This puts me at risk with my insurance company so I want a release of liability for any materials installed by my company.
