I hired a company to install impact windows and doors in my home, including the garage door. The company has given me multiple contradictory reasons at to why the garage door cannot be done. They had me sign a refund affidavit but have not issued me the refund, and have refused to communicate with me. I have been told I can file a lein against the company. I was wondering if this is true and how to do so?
I hope it wasn't a lawyer who told you that. No you cannot assert a construction lien against the contractor.
