Hello,

Mechanic's Liens are only for labor and material for the improvement of real property. You may have a tough time showing how a moving company performed labor for the improvement of real property unless you were moving stuff so the contractors could get to it. That one is going to be rough.

In any event, this is a matter better suited for a small claims court where you can represent yourself. If you file a lien, to enforce it, you have to go to District Court and you have to hire a lawyer to represent you in District Court since you are suing as a company. The cost of the lawyer's deposit will be over $1300 just to file the lawsuit. Your costs will quickly exceed the judgment.
