can I fight a mechanic lien for the service that my tenant received?

California

my tenant has moved out due to unable to pay for the past 3 months. She moved out voluntarily but uncertain when to pay the rent back. Then I received a letter from a dumpster company stating that a mechanical lien has placed on my property. apparently, there were some payment dispute between the tenant and the dumpster company. Now they want me to pay $4200 for the legal process fee etc, This is a service that I have never consented for or used and it was only supposed to be about $1200 . What should I do? if my tenant is not able to pay, what is my best next step? Thank you for any advice.

As I see it you have at least 2 options. File a motion to expunge the lien and/or sue the former tenant.
