Can a third party supplier have the right to place a lien on my property without my knowledge or consent in Washington?

Washington

What right does a third party supplier have the right to place a lien on ones property when said homeowner was neither informed of third party lien rights or gave any consent? Does a homeowner legally have to informed of any third party lien rights by a contractor?

I am not sure what a third party supplier is.  But, in any event, you should have received a disclosure notice from any supplier.  Failing to provide it, voids the lien.

All suppliers (unless the supplier contracts directly with the owner) should issue to the owner a pre-claim notice in order to protect their payment in the event that the general contractor fails to pay the supplier. This is simply a notification that preserves the suppliers lien rights if they don't get paid. For most remodel or repair projects your general contractor will have given you a Washington Disclosure Statement at the outset of the project. This statement references the supplies rights.
