Can a lien be filed against lender who instructed my company to repair hurricane damages?

TexasLien Foreclosure

Dozens of letters were exchanged. But no contract.but agreement to make hurricane repairs per adjusters estimate was agreed upon. Would a mechanics lien/quantum merit liens be have priority over lenders lien since the action would be against lender.. Texas property Darryl 3612178088. I give permission for an attorney to contact me.

Hi Darryl, Obviously this situation has some complexity to it. Typically liens are only available when work has actually been performed on the property, but there are exceptions. Regardless of whether you have a lien, you may very well have formed a binding contract with the adjuster. I would certainly suggest reaching out to an attorney to determine your options. If the adjuster/insurance co. did breach a valid contract with you, you would then be entitled to the profit you would have made on the job and typically, your attorney's fees involved in seeking payment on the contract. Feel free to reach out to my office at your convenience. Ben 281-762-1377 ben@houseperron.com
