We had new windows installed in June. The size on our contract is for new construction windows and the company installed retrofit windows that are 4” smaller all around that the measurements on the contract. The windows were also installed upside down and backwards. The company also left them unfinished no window trim. We have not been able to come to a resolution. The company has admitted the windows are wrong and that the size on the contract is for new construction but they aren’t willing to do that for the price they quoted us. The company has now threatened a lien on our property even though they have never sent us a bill and the job is still incomplete.
