I am having trouble determining if we are required to prepare for the CA CCPA as we are a commercial General Contractor. We build for commercial clients, not individual people. The only consumer (personal)info we would have in our system is that of any employee who would reside in CA, if applicable.

Unfortunately, I’m no expert on the CCPA and CCPA compliance. However, there are some online resources that should be really valuable in getting up to speed with the new requirements and how to comply, if required, with the new regulations.

Here are a handful of articles on the topic that should be helpful for better understanding the CCPA and how it might affect your business:

– California Consumer Privacy Act: Everything You Need to Know About CCPA, the New California Data Privacy Law
– California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): What you need to know to be compliant
– California’s Data Privacy Law: What It Is and How to Comply (A Step-By-Step Guide)

I hope that was helpful!
