As a GC do I need to send a 20 day prelim?

CaliforniaPreliminary NoticeRight to Lien

We are a GC that contracts directly with the property owner with no lender. In our contract their is a notice included stating our right to file a lien. Do I still need to send a 20 prelim on our jobs to preserve our lien rights?

No.  GCs do not have to send a 20-day prelim because the project owner knows who you are.  As long as there is no lender, no need to send in a prelim.
