Are my current credentials enough?

FloridaLicenses

Good morning. I have a few years of Plumbing experience and also some college. I have also been in the real estate business since 2014 and would love to become a builder or GC. Is this possible with my current credentials?

Florida, like most states, requires specific benchmarks be met in order to become a licensed residential contractor. Generally, this will require experience directly in the industry, and some combination of experience and college credits may suffice there. Unfortunately, though, I'm no expert on qualifying for licensure - but here are some online excellent resources that might provide some additional insight on what's needed in order to obtain licensure: - Become a Florida Licensed Residential Contractor | Gold Coast Schools - Florida General Contractor License Types and Requirements - Thinking About Getting Your Contractors License?
