I have a Civil case against me. My contractor filed a Mechanics Lien with the Circuit Court in Charlotte County Florida. I believe I saw somewhere that its written to stay a Circuit Court Matter the amount of the Lien cannot exceed $15,000 or it the becomes another issue requiring a different Court, but I can no longer find what I thought I read...can you help?
