What about a contractor in FL not on Fed jobs but has a legal marijuana card? Will he lose his license?

I don't think that a Florida contractor will automatically lose their license simply because they have a medical marijuana card. However, performing work when under the influence of marijuana could certainly give rise to all sorts of issues, and it'd hardly be surprising to hear that a contractor might run into licensing issues - or even lose their license - as a result of performing work after ingesting marijuana.
But, I'm no expert on Florida's licensing rules, and I'm not familiar with Florida's medical marijuana regulatory system. So, for more clarity, it'd probably be wise to discuss the matter with a Florida construction attorney or a licencing expert.
