Hi, My name is Scottie McDonald. I work for a commercial roofing company in Garland Texas. We are considering submitting a job bid as a sub-contractor to a General contractor. The job bid is for the roofing for a new commercial building in Baton Rouge. In considering what to include in a budget and other planning efforts I have a few questions that I was hoping you could help me with: 1) Would we be required to apply for a business license? 2) If yes what is the cost of this and how long does the process take? 3) Would we need a construction permit? 4) If yes what is the cost of this and how long does the process take? 5) Would we need a contractor’s license? 6) If yes what is the cost of this and how long does the process take? Thanks in advance for your assistance. ...Read More
