About William Donovan
Mr. Donovan received a Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Accounting from the University of Detroit in June 1961 Magna Cum Laude and in 1964 received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit School of Law Magna Cum Laude. He then joined the United States Coast Guard and then in 1965 became a United States Navy Judge Advocate. Mr. Donovan has been given the highest ranking of AV from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and has been recognized as Super Lawyer in Corporate and Business Law. Mr. Donovan was also elected in 1970 and served as Macomb County Commissioner from the City of Sterling Heights.

Mr. Donovan is a Veteran and serves as counsel to several Disabled Veterans Associations and is a member of the United States-Michigan Air Force Association and the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police and is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker.

He has served as a Case Evaluator and Mediator in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County Mediation Tribunals. He has also served as a Member of the American Bar Association, American Arbitration Association, Construction Association of Michigan and Automation Alley.
