Jason Wright is a founding partner of Richardson Wright LLP in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Wright has been practicing for 19 years and focuses his practice on insurance coverage analysis, construction contracting and defect litigation, commercial counseling and litigation, and catastrophic personal injury litigation.
Jason is an insurance coverage expert specializing in complex insurance analysis and coverage litigation for all types of first and third party coverage in state and federal court. These actions involve a wide variety of claims, including transportation and construction risks, reinsurance transactions and arbitrations, organization formation and dissolution, environmental pollution liability, product liability, and construction defect liability.
Jason also represents a wide variety private businesses and owners assisting them in both transactional and litigation matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, partnership dissolutions, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, trademark and patent infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, business interruption, and employment disputes.
In his role as a business counselor and litigator, Jason has successfully prosecuted a misappropriation of trade secret case involving the development and application of the world’s leading timing system used in every major marathon. Jason has also successfully arbitrated a $4.7 million-dollar breach of contract action for one of the largest car dealerships in the United States.
