This Levelset guide explains the timelines and deadlines for filing a lien in Arkansas: https://www.levelset.com/mechanics-lien/arkansas-lien-law-faqs/
What happens to a general contractor's mechanics lien rights if the property undergoes a change of ownership?

Generally if you took the proper steps at the outset (typically abiding by notice requirements which vary by state), and you file within the appropriate window, your mechanic’s lien rights are preserved regardless of the change in ownership. However, if you have such rights on property that you know has been or is being transferred, you should act quickly to preserve your rights and provide all appropriate parties with proper notice.

It's generally considered legally unwise to accept work without a contract. However, if you're trying to find out what your rights are without a contract you should contact an attorney directly at their office. This forum is public, so it may not be the right place to discuss a sensitive legal issue. Levelset provides a list of attorneys in each state here: https://www.levelset.com/payment-help/experts/experts-by-state/ . From that directory you may find a law firm in your area to call privately.
